Human IFI16/IFNGIP1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human IFI16 (Interferon Gamma Inducible Protein 16). The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. IFI16 is described as a critical protein involved in immune response and inflammation, with reported roles in autoimmune disorders, viral infections, and cancer, making the kit relevant to research into disease progression and treatment strategies.

Documented linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is: serum 85–104%, 92–99% and 89–105% (n = 5); EDTA plasma 92–97%, 90–101% and 83–100% (n = 5); and heparin plasma 83–96%, 83–94% and 84–100% (n = 5). Sample recovery is reported as 86–104% (average 93%) for serum, 87–102% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 90–104% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. The protocol involves reagent and TMB substrate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, stop solution addition, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
