Human IDUA PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0693)

The IDUA target is alpha-L-iduronidase, a lysosomal hydrolase that cleaves terminal iduronic acid residues from glycosaminoglycans including heparan sulfate and dermatan sulfate. Deficient enzyme activity causes mucopolysaccharidosis type I (MPS I), a spectrum disorder that includes Hurler, Hurler-Scheie, and Scheie phenotypes. Researchers use this Assay Genie kit with human-specific capture reagents to quantify IDUA protein levels, supporting studies of enzyme replacement therapy pharmacodynamics, gene therapy efficacy, biomarker validation, and genotype-phenotype correlations in patient cohorts. The kit is supplied as a microplate with 96 assays for research use only. Refrigerated storage is recommended, and components should be equilibrated to room temperature before running the assay.
