Human IDH2/Isocitrate dehydrogenase 2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human IDH2 (Isocitrate Dehydrogenase 2), this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format and a colorimetric detection method. The assay is intended for research use and is reactive with human samples. IDH2 is a key enzyme in the tricarboxylic acid cycle, and mutations in the IDH2 gene have been associated with various cancers and other diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for disease pathology research.

The kit is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL, with an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Spiked recovery in serum (n=5) ranged from 90–105% (average 97%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) from 86–97% (average 93%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) from 86–105% (average 94%). Linearity for serum (n=5) was 89–101% at 1:2, 82–92% at 1:4, and 88–100% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) was 85–95%, 84–100%, and 80–98%; and heparin plasma (n=5) was 90–98%, 86–98%, and 80–94%. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
