Human I-TAC (CXCL11) is an interferon-inducible CXC chemokine that signals through CXCR3 to direct T-cell and NK-cell chemotaxis, while also exerting angiostatic effects in inflamed and tumor tissue microenvironments. The Assay Genie I-TAC immunoassay quantifies endogenous I-TAC concentrations in cell culture supernatants and plasma or serum samples using matched antibody pairs bound to a microplate, enabling studies in viral immunology, autoimmune disease models, tumor immunology, and interferon signaling research. The microplate format supports quantitative readouts in vitro on a standard plate reader, and unopened kit components are shipped refrigerated; reconstituted reagents should be stored frozen in aliquots to preserve activity across runs.
