Human Hyaluronidase-4/HYAL4 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Hyaluronidase-4 (HYAL4) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. HYAL4 is an enzyme involved in the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, a key component of the extracellular matrix, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, arthritis, and inflammation.

The kit uses a double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. The assay procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin binding, TMB substrate color development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Components include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, and plate sealer. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity has been validated for serum (94-103%, 87-97%, 91-105% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (83-98%, 82-101%, 84-100%) and heparin plasma (91-100%, 82-99%, 81-95%). Recovery averages are 97% for serum (range 91-101%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 88-97%), and 99% for heparin plasma (range 95-104%).
