Human Hyaluronidase-4 (HYAL4) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format colorimetric ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Hyaluronidase-4 (HYAL4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human HYAL4 and is intended for research use only. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit offers a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL and a working detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL, with a reported intra-assay CV of 5.4% and inter-assay CV of 8.0%.

HYAL4 is an endo-hyaluronidase that degrades hyaluronan into smaller oligosaccharide fragments and also exhibits chondroitin sulfate hydrolase activity, with the best substrate being the galactosaminidic linkage in the sequence of a trisulfated tetrasaccharide.
