Human Hyaluronidase-3 (HYAL3) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the measurement of human Hyaluronidase-3 (HYAL3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Hyaluronidase-3, with a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/ml. Intra-assay and inter-assay coefficients of variation are reported as 4.8% and 6.9% respectively [S1].

HYAL3 belongs to the hyaluronidase family of endoglycosidase enzymes that degrade hyaluronan, a major glycosaminoglycan of the extracellular matrix whose regulated turnover influences cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. The gene maps to chromosome 3p21.3, a region associated with tumor suppression, and the encoded protein may also play a role in sperm function. It is classified as a secreted hydrolase (EC 3.2.1.35) localised to lysosomes, the extracellular region and cytoplasmic vesicles.
