Human Hyaluronidase-2/HYAL2 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Hyaluronidase-2 (HYAL2) in human research samples. HYAL2 is a key enzyme involved in the degradation of hyaluronic acid, a crucial component of the extracellular matrix, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders, and tissue remodeling processes.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, and detection is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Recovery has been validated in serum (average 96%, range 89–104%), EDTA plasma (average 95%, range 89–104%) and heparin plasma (average 93%, range 88–104%). The workflow includes reagent equilibration and plate setup, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop reaction with absorbance reading.
