Human Hyaluronidase-2 (HYAL2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Hyaluronidase-2 (HYAL2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. HYAL2 is a GPI-anchored cell surface enzyme belonging to the glycosyl hydrolase 56 family that hydrolyses high molecular weight hyaluronic acid into intermediate-sized products. Dysregulation of HYAL2 has been associated with cancer, inflammatory disorders, and tissue remodelling, making accurate quantitation relevant to research in these areas.

The assay uses a colorimetric sandwich ELISA format with double-antibody detection and shows a sensitivity of 0.14 ng/mL with a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16 for serum (101-111% at 1:2), EDTA plasma (111-120% at 1:2), and heparin plasma (84-94% at 1:2). Spike-and-recovery performance in serum averaged 96% (range 90-102%) and in plasma averaged 98% (range 92-104%). Components are intended to be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
