HMMR, also referred to as CD168, RHAMM, IHABP, or intracellular hyaluronic acid-binding protein, is a hyaluronic acid receptor located at the cell surface and in the cytoplasm, involved in cell motility, cellular transformation, and metastasis formation, with documented associations to breast cancer biology.

The kit employs a colorimetric ELISA detection method and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It is specific to natural and recombinant human HMMR.
