Human HURP ELISA Kit (HUFI03866)

The HURP protein (Hepatoma Up-Regulated Protein, also known as DLGAP5) is a cell-cycle-regulated, microtubule-associated nuclear factor required for kinetochore-microtubule attachment and proper chromosome alignment during mitosis. Because HURP expression rises sharply in proliferating cells and is markedly elevated in hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma, bladder cancer, and several other tumour types, it is studied as a proliferation-linked marker in oncology, cell-cycle, and biomarker-discovery workflows.

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is configured for measurement of native HURP in human specimens, including serum or plasma-derived samples. Reagents are supplied in sufficient quantity for a full 96 Assays microplate run, using a pre-coated plate, a matched capture and detection antibody pair, and an enzyme-driven absorbance read-out on a standard plate reader. The protocol follows an add-standard-or-sample, wash, detect, and read sequence, in which bound analyte produces a colored product proportional to HURP concentration, enabling interpolation against the supplied standard curve.

Components include a pre-coated microwell plate, assay diluent, wash buffer, detection antibody conjugate, chromogen substrate, stop solution, and a vial of recombinant HURP standard. Reagents should be refrigerated on arrival and equilibrated to room temperature before use. The kit is intended for research use only, for in vitro applications, and is not validated for diagnostic procedures.
