Human HTT/Huntingtin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Huntingtin (HTT) protein in research settings. The kit supports studies of Huntington's disease, a neurodegenerative disorder associated with loss of striatal neurons and progressive motor and cognitive impairment, by enabling measurement of huntingtin levels in biological samples.

Configured as a double-antibody sandwich ELISA, the assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. It is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma falls between 82% and 104% across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:8. Recovery averages 96% for serum (range 85–104%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 86–102%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 85–105%). The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
