Human HTRA1 (HtrA Serine Peptidase 1) CLIA Kit (HUES00305)

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the detection of human serine protease HTRA1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human serine protease HTRA1.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 20pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 5.3% and inter-assay CV at 6.3%. Linearity has been demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery averages 80% (range 80-86%) in serum and 82% (range 80-88%) in plasma.

HTRA1 is a secreted serine protease that targets extracellular matrix components such as fibronectin, modulates TGF-beta signalling, and regulates the availability of insulin-like growth factors through cleavage of IGF-binding proteins. The protein is predominantly secreted and may also associate with the plasma membrane. The kit is labelled for research use only.
