Human HSPA2/Heat shock-related 70 kDa protein 2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Heat shock-related 70 kDa protein 2 (HSPA2). The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with TMB substrate and a 450 nm read-out.

Reported sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL and the working range is 0.781-50 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions for serum (85-104%), EDTA plasma (82-99%) and heparin plasma (80-100%). Spike-and-recovery averages are 99% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma and 97% in heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix). The kit is stored at 2-8°C and is stable for 12 months under those conditions.

HSPA2 is a chaperone involved in the cellular heat shock response, with dysregulation associated with cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and infertility. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer, stop solution, plate sealers and a technical manual.
