Human HSP90 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human HSP90 ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format for the in vitro quantitative determination of HSP90AA1 concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and targets HSP90, a molecular chaperone (heat shock protein 90-alpha) involved in protein folding, signal transduction, cell cycle control, and protein degradation.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/ml and a working range of 3.125–200 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery results across serum, EDTA plasma, and UFH plasma show average recoveries between 93% and 98%. Linearity was demonstrated by serial dilution of spiked samples, and intra-assay CV is <8% with inter-assay CV <10%.

The kit targets HSP90 (gene symbol HSP90AA1, UniProt P07900), a chaperone whose dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune diseases. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months, and a 450 nm microplate reader is required for absorbance measurement.
