Human HSP20 ELISA Kit

A colourimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human HSP20. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

Recovery averages 95% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma, and 96% in heparin plasma, with individual recoveries spanning 87–105%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions falls within 82–103%. Shelf-life storage is 2–8°C for 12 months.

HSP20 is described as a chaperone protein involved in cellular stress response and protein folding, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disorders.
