Human HSD17B10/ERAB ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is specifically designed for the accurate quantification of HSD17B10/ERAB levels in human biological samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The TMB substrate is developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes and absorbance is read at 450 nm after adding the stop solution.

HSD17B10/ERAB is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in various metabolic pathways, including fatty acid oxidation and steroid hormone metabolism, and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and certain types of cancer. Linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, and average recovery is 95% in each of those matrices.

The assay protocol is a standard sandwich ELISA workflow: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, load standards, samples and a zero control on the pre-coated plate and incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes at 37°C, develop with TMB for 10–20 minutes in the dark, then add stop solution and read at 450 nm.
