Human HS-IL-6 (High sensitive Interleukin 6) ELISA Kit (HUFI07680)

A high-sensitivity sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the accurate quantification of human Interleukin-6 (IL-6), a key cytokine involved in inflammation and immune response regulation. The kit supports research applications in immunology, oncology, and inflammation, where elevated IL-6 levels have been associated with inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.28 pg/mL and a measuring range of 0.46–30 pg/mL. The assay is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric using a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody format. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C and remains stable for 12 months under these conditions.

The assay procedure involves reagent equilibration, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm following stop solution addition. Dilution linearity (1:2, 1:4, 1:8; n=5) spans 81–101% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, while spike-recovery averages range from 92–98% across these matrices. Supplied reagents include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody, and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, and plate sealer.
