Description

The Assay Genie hs-CRP CLIA Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative determination of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The assay follows a Sandwich-CLIA workflow on a pre-coated microplate, with standards or samples, a biotinylated detection antibody, and an Avidin-HRP conjugate added sequentially. After washing, a substrate solution is added; wells containing bound hs-CRP, detection antibody, and Avidin-HRP generate a chemiluminescent signal whose relative light units (RLU) are measured on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer and are positively correlated with hs-CRP concentration.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 4.69 pg/mL and a detection range of 7.81-500 pg/mL, with a total assay time of 3.5h and a sample volume of 100µL. The kit specifically recognizes human hs-CRP, and no significant cross-reactivity or interference has been observed between human hs-CRP and analogues. Reproducibility is reported at less than 15% for both intra-assay and inter-assay CV.

hsCRP is described as a key biomarker of inflammation and vascular disease, making accurate quantification valuable in cardiovascular, autoimmune, and infection-related research. The kit ships with reagents for the sandwich-chemiluminescence workflow, including reference standard, concentrated biotinylated detection antibody (100×), concentrated HRP conjugate (100×), reference standard and sample diluent, biotinylated detection antibody diluent, HRP conjugate diluent, concentrated wash buffer (25×), substrate reagents A and B, plate sealer, and product documentation, with storage conditions varying by component.
