Human HRPT2 ELISA Kit (HUFI03903)

From Assay Genie, this research-use ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human HRPT2, the gene also known as CDC73 whose protein product parafibromin forms part of the PAF1 transcription complex. Loss-of-function mutations in HRPT2 underlie hyperparathyroidism–jaw tumor syndrome and are recurrent drivers of sporadic parathyroid carcinoma, so the kit is used in studies of parathyroid tumor biology, endocrine neoplasia, and transcriptional regulation by the PAF1 complex.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate and all reagents needed for 96 individual determinations, supplied in vials and bottles ready for the assay workflow. The plate is read on a standard absorbance microplate reader after the substrate reaction, yielding a quantitative signal proportional to parafibromin concentration in the loaded sample. Standards provided in the kit allow construction of a calibration curve for interpolating unknown samples.

Configured for in vitro research applications, the kit is compatible with cell culture-derived lysates as well as tissue extracts from laboratory models of parathyroid disease.
