Human Homocysteine-responsive endoplasmic reticulum-resident ubiquitin-like domain member 1 protein (HERPUD1) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and detects both natural and recombinant forms of the target.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 8.2%. Recovery in serum averages 87% (range 81–93%) and in plasma averages 89% (range 83–95%).

HERPUD1 is a multi-pass membrane protein of the endoplasmic reticulum involved in ER-associated degradation (ERAD) and the unfolded protein response, with research relevance to metabolism and reported links to cardiovascular and neurodegenerative conditions.
