Human Homeobox protein engrailed-2 (EN2) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables the detection of human Homeobox protein engrailed-2 (EN2), also known as Homeobox protein en-2 (UniProt P19622). EN2 is a nuclear DNA-binding transcription factor belonging to the engrailed homeobox family and is implicated in neuronal development and patterning. Dysregulation of EN2 has been associated with neurological disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia, making it a valuable biomarker for neurodevelopmental research.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It shows specificity for natural and recombinant human EN2, with a reported detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.9% and inter-assay CV is 6.9%.
