Human HMGB4/High mobility group protein B4 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human High Mobility Group Protein B4 (HMGB4) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody assay is run on a pre-coated microplate using a biotin-labelled detection antibody, an HRP-streptavidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after the stop solution is added.

Dilutional linearity for serum (n = 5) is 88–97% at 1:2, 81–100% at 1:4 and 85–102% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n = 5) it is 88–99%, 82–93% and 85–101%; and for heparin plasma (n = 5) it is 86–99%, 88–99% and 90–100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% (serum, range 96–103%), 96% (EDTA plasma, range 91–104%) and 94% (heparin plasma, range 91–99%).

The kit is intended to support research into HMGB4's reported roles in regulating gene expression, DNA repair and inflammation, and its associations with cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
