HLA-DMB is a non-classical MHC class II chaperone that catalyzes the exchange of CLIP for antigenic peptides in the peptide-binding groove of HLA-DR molecules, making it a critical regulator of antigen presentation pathways and adaptive immune responses. The Assay Genie HLA-DMB ELISA Kit provides a quantitative immunoassay platform for measuring human Major Histocompatibility Complex class II DM beta protein levels in research samples, supporting studies of antigen processing defects and disease-associated expression patterns.

Researchers studying autoimmunity, transplant rejection, infectious disease immunity, and tumor immunobiology rely on HLA-DMB quantification to investigate conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, type 1 diabetes, and certain leukemia subtypes where MHC class II function is altered. Reactivity is specific to human samples, enabling studies of patient-derived material in translational research settings.

The assay is supplied as a complete kit configured for 96 Assays per plate, with all reagents required to perform the standard curve and sample measurements in a single run. Colorimetric readout allows data acquisition on standard microplate readers commonly available in research facilities.

Application areas include in vitro studies of antigen presentation, investigation of MHC class II expression in immune cell populations, and characterization of HLA-DMB levels in blood-derived clinical specimens. The kit is intended for research use only and supports ELISA-based workflows across academic, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology laboratories focused on immune regulation and disease mechanism studies.
