Description

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate detection of human HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, alpha chain E (HLA-E) in biological samples. HLA-E is a key component of the human immune system, playing a critical role in antigen presentation and immune response regulation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, viral infections, and cancer. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human HLA-E, offering researchers a reliable tool for quantifying HLA-E levels and exploring its role in immune responses and disease processes.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and inter-assay CV of 9.4%. It is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. HLA-E preferably binds to a peptide derived from the signal sequence of most HLA-A, -B, -C and -G molecules, and is structured as a heterodimer of an alpha chain and a beta chain (beta-2-microglobulin).

Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (92-114%), EDTA plasma (94-112%), and heparin plasma (81-121%). Recovery averages 104% (98-110%) in serum and 106% (100-112%) in plasma. For research use only.
