Human HLA-B27 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection to quantify HLA-B27 in human samples. The assay is intended for research into immune function, including the autoimmune associations of HLA-B27 with ankylosing spondylitis and reactive arthritis.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Dilutional linearity at 1:2 was 87-105% for serum (n=5), 85-101% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 89-104% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averaged 92% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 100% for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
