Human Histone H2B type 2-E (HIST2H2BE) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the precise measurement of human Histone H2B type 2-E (HIST2H2BE) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity limited to human samples. The assay has a sensitivity of 0.2ng/mL and a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 3.6% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%.

Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions 1:2 to 1:16 for serum (83-125%), EDTA plasma (98-121%) and heparin plasma (84-118%). Recovery averages 86% (range 80-92%) in serum and 88% (range 82-94%) in plasma. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human Histone H2B type 2-E and is for research use only. It is classified in the epigenetics research area and is suited to studies of this nucleosome core component, which has been described as having broad antibacterial activity contributing to the antimicrobial barrier of the colonic epithelium and to the bactericidal activity of amniotic fluid (UniProt Q16778).
