Human Histone deacetylase 7 (HDAC7) ELISA Kit

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.0% and an inter-assay CV of 11.3%. Spike-and-recovery testing gave an average recovery of 102% (range 96-108%) for serum and 104% (range 98-110%) for plasma. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 104-115%, 88-98%, 87-98% and 106-116% for serum (N=5); 95-95%, 95-104%, 103-113% and 102-112% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 84-93%, 89-99%, 112-121% and 97-107% for heparin plasma (N=5).

HDAC7 (UniProt Q8WUI4, 66,187 Da) is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones H2A, H2B, H3 and H4, and plays a role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events, with research applications in cancer.
