Histidine Rich Glycoprotein (HRG) is an approximately 67 kDa plasma glycoprotein synthesized by hepatocytes, circulating at concentrations of roughly 100-150 µg/mL in healthy adults and participating in the regulation of coagulation, fibrinolysis, and angiogenesis. The Assay Genie Human Histidine Rich Glycoprotein (HRG) ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay in sandwich format that quantifies HRG in human serum and plasma specimens as well as cell culture supernatants and related sample matrices. The assay is intended for research use only and produces a colorimetric readout compatible with standard microplate readers.

Each kit is configured as a 96-well microplate and ships with the pre-coated plate, HRG-specific detection antibody, calibrated standards, and reagents required to build a standard curve for interpolating unknown HRG concentrations. The assay has been validated specifically for human samples and demonstrates no meaningful cross-reactivity with mouse or rat HRG, supporting studies that compare human specimens with rodent disease models or require unambiguous human-specific detection.

Researchers investigating coagulation disorders, sepsis-driven changes in plasma protein composition, inflammatory signaling, liver disease, or tumor-associated alterations in HRG expression will find this kit a practical option for longitudinal monitoring, biomarker discovery, and translational studies. Reagents should be stored refrigerated and equilibrated to room temperature before use to preserve assay performance.
