Human HIST2H2BE/Histone H2B type 2-E ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit for the quantitative measurement of Histone H2B type 2-E in human samples. The assay is colorimetric, with a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. After addition of TMB substrate and stop solution, absorbance is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding a biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 37°C incubation for 60 minutes, adding HRP-Streptavidin and incubating for 30 minutes, then developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes before adding stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The kit also includes Bradford Reagent to quantify total protein for accurate sample normalization, and is supplied with a 25X wash buffer, dilution buffers, plate sealer and technical manual.
