Human High mobility group protein HMGI-C (HMGA2) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate and precise detection of High mobility group protein HMGI-C (HMGA2) levels in human samples. The kit targets the High mobility group AT-hook protein 2 (HMGIC), a non-histone chromosomal HMG protein involved in gene regulation, cell growth, differentiation, and transformation, and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.076 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 5.9% and inter-assay CV as 9.0%. Linearity has been validated across dilution ratios of 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with serum recovery averaging 103% (range 97–109%) and plasma recovery averaging 105% (range 99–111%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human High mobility group protein HMGI-C (UniProt P52926), a nuclear protein that functions as a transcriptional regulator, contributes to cell cycle regulation through CCNA2, and plays a role in chromosome condensation during the meiotic G2/M transition of spermatocytes.
