Human High mobility group protein HMGI-C ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human High mobility group protein HMGI-C in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

HMGI-C is a key protein involved in gene regulation and chromatin organization, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, diabetes, and other diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying disease mechanisms and developing targeted treatments. The assay uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, and TMB substrate for color development, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The research area is cell cycle.

Validated linearity in serum ranges from 82-100% at 1:2, 92-97% at 1:4, and 88-99% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma from 82-97%, 83-100%, and 83-100%; and in heparin plasma from 84-98%, 91-104%, and 80-97%. Recovery is 90-105% in serum (average 97%), 95-102% in EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 89-105% in heparin plasma (average 99%).
