Human High mobility group protein B4 (HMGB4) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of High mobility group protein B4 (HMGB4) in human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. HMGB4 is a member of the HMGB family that participates in chromatin organization and gene regulation, with described molecular functions in DNA binding, chromatin binding, chromatin remodeling and regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent. Dysregulation of HMGB4 has been linked in the literature to cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and recognises natural and recombinant human HMGB4, and is supplied for research use only within the epigenetics research area. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 10.4%. Recovery is reported as 103% (range 97-109) for serum and 105% (range 99-111) for plasma.
