Human High mobility group protein B1 (HMGB1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of human High mobility group protein B1 (HMGB1), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human HMGB1 and is intended for research into inflammation, immune response and tissue repair, where HMGB1 is recognised as a key biomarker in conditions such as sepsis, arthritis and cancer.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.079ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as a CV of 6.8% and inter-assay precision as a CV of 10.1%. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16, with recoveries in serum ranging from 110-122% (1:2) to 100-110% (1:16), in EDTA plasma from 113-123% to 97-109%, and in heparin plasma from 101-109% to 89-101%. Spike-and-recovery testing shows an average of 91% (range 85-97%) in serum and 93% (range 87-99%) in plasma.
