Human High affinity nerve growth factor receptor (NTRK1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of the high affinity nerve growth factor receptor (NTRK1, also known as TrkA) in human samples. The kit is intended for research use only and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, recognising both natural and recombinant human High affinity nerve growth factor receptor (UniProt P04629).

Performance characteristics: detection range 78-5000 pg/mL, sensitivity 24 pg/mL, intra-assay CV 5.5%, inter-assay CV 8.5%. Recovery is 95% (89-101%) in serum and 97% (91-103%) in plasma. Linearity in serum (N=5) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions ranges from 108-120%, 110-120%, 91-101% and 95-105% respectively; EDTA plasma (N=5) shows 102-113%, 107-117%, 87-99% and 82-82%; heparin plasma (N=5) shows 96-105%, 98-107%, 97-110% and 85-97%.

NTRK1 / TrkA is a receptor tyrosine kinase with a crucial role in nerve growth factor signalling, neuronal development, survival and function. Dysregulation has been implicated in neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease and chronic pain, making it a target of interest as a potential biomarker and therapeutic candidate.
