Human HIG2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA with double-antibody format from Assay Genie, designed to quantify human HIG2 (Hypoxia Inducible Protein 2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, based on TMB substrate development read at 450 nm, with a reported sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and assay range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and is intended for the metabolism research area.

Linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (n = 5) at 94-102%, 88-100% and 82-97%, for EDTA plasma (n = 5) at 82-95%, 90-96% and 82-100%, and for heparin plasma (n = 5) at 85-99%, 88-100% and 81-93%. Spike-and-recovery across the same matrices (n = 5) was reported as 88-104% (average 95%) for serum, 91-100% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 93-104% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.

HIG2 is described as a protein involved in the cellular response to hypoxia, with a role in regulating cellular metabolism, growth and survival under low-oxygen conditions.
