Human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F (HNRNPF) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F (HNRNPF), also referred to as hnRNP F, HNRPF, and nucleolin-like protein mcs94-1. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human HNRNPF.

The reported detection range is 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 34pg/mL. Reported precision includes an Intra CV of 5.1% and an Inter CV of 10.2%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery was measured in serum (average 86%, range 80-92%) and plasma (average 88%, range 82-94%).

HNRNPF is a component of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes that provide the substrate for pre-mRNA processing and plays a role in the regulation of alternative splicing events by binding G-rich sequences in pre-mRNAs. The protein has been identified in the spliceosome C complex, with reported interactions involving AGO1, AGO2, TBP and TXNL4/DIM1. The associated research area is epigenetics, with subcellular localisation in the nucleus and nucleoplasm.
