Quantification of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1 (HNRPA2B1), an RNA-binding protein central to pre-mRNA splicing, mRNA export, and telomere maintenance, is supported by this Assay Genie immunoassay kit configured as 96 assays. The target protein is well established as an autoantigen in rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune rheumatic conditions, making the kit relevant for serological profiling of autoantibody responses and for studies of B-cell epitope recognition.

In oncology research, HNRPA2B1 overexpression has been reported in lung adenocarcinoma, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma, where it correlates with proliferation, invasion, and poorer prognosis. The kit accommodates human tissue homogenates and cell lysates, enabling quantitative comparison of tumor versus matched normal tissue across patient cohorts. Neuroscience groups investigating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, frontotemporal dementia, and multisystem proteinopathy can apply the same protocol to patient-derived neural cell lines, since mutations in the HNRPA2B1 gene cause dominantly inherited forms of these disorders.

Intended for research use only, the reagents integrate into standard microplate workflows in immunology, RNA biology, and molecular oncology laboratories. The kit format supports biomarker discovery panels that examine splicing factor abundance alongside other hnRNP family members, and provides sufficient wells for standards, internal controls, and biological replicates within each run.
