Human HESX1 ELISA Kit (HUFI03954)

The HESX1 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of HESX1 homeobox protein in human research specimens. HESX1 functions as a transcriptional repressor during early embryogenesis and is essential for anterior pituitary organogenesis; genetic variants in this homeobox gene have been associated with septo-optic dysplasia and congenital hypopituitarism, making accurate protein quantification valuable for developmental biology and clinical research.

The kit contains a pre-coated microtiter plate, recombinant protein standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP reagent, wash concentrate, and chromogenic substrate. For best results, store unopened kit components at 4 degrees C and protect the Streptavidin-HRP and TMB substrate from light exposure. Reconstituted standard dilutions should be aliquoted and held at -20 degrees C to limit freeze-thaw degradation. The complete assay procedure requires approximately 100 uL of sample per well and yields a colorimetric readout that can be quantified on a standard microplate reader.
