Human HES1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of HES1 in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with biotin–streptavidin HRP detection and TMB substrate development. The kit has a stated sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm after stopping the colour reaction.

Validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples, the workflow delivers mean recoveries of 91% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma) and 96% (heparin plasma), with linearity typically within 81–103% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. The pre-coated plate protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin (SABC) step and a 10–20-minute TMB development in the dark. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. HES1 (Hairy and enhancer of split 1) is a key transcription factor that regulates cellular processes including cell differentiation, proliferation and development, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative and cardiovascular disease research.
