Human Hepcidin (HAMP) ELISA Kit

Hepcidin is a key regulator of iron metabolism, controlling the absorption and distribution of iron in the body, and its dysregulation has been linked to conditions such as iron overload and anemia, making it a valuable biomarker for research into iron-related disorders.

It detects natural and recombinant human Hepcidin and has a detection range of 0.18-12ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.094ng/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 6.9% and inter-assay CV is 8.9%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (86-110%), EDTA plasma (83-112%) and heparin plasma (91-119%) across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Average recovery is 91% for serum (range 85-97%) and 93% for plasma (range 87-99%).
