Human Hepc25 (Hepcidin 25) ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the accurate detection of Hepcidin-25 in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Hepcidin-25 is a key regulator of iron metabolism, and the kit supports research into iron homeostasis, anemia, and related hematological disorders.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL with a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Sample linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is documented in serum at 86-95%, 80-94% and 90-103%, in EDTA plasma at 83-98%, 81-100% and 87-105%, and in heparin plasma at 86-101%, 84-100% and 85-94% (n=5 per matrix). Recovery ranges are 93-103% for serum (average 98%), 89-103% for EDTA plasma (average 92%) and 92-105% for heparin plasma (average 98%).

The protocol involves reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
