Human Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the precise measurement of human Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with natural and recombinant human HGF and is for research use only.

The assay provides a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 19.5pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Recovery values are 103% for serum (range 97-109%) and 105% for plasma (range 99-111%).

HGF, also referred to as Hepatopoietin-A, Scatter factor, SF or HPTA, is a multifunctional protein that acts as a potent mitogen for mature parenchymal hepatocyte cells and serves as an activating ligand for the receptor tyrosine kinase MET, promoting its dimerization. The kit is suitable for signal transduction studies.
