Human Hepatocyte Growth Factor Activator (HGFAC) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie HGFAC ELISA Kit is an in vitro immunoassay for quantitative measurement of Hepatocyte Growth Factor Activator in human samples. HGFAC is a circulating serine protease that cleaves single-chain pro-HGF into its active heterodimeric form, a rate-limiting step in the HGF/MET pathway that governs epithelial motility, organ regeneration, and invasive growth in solid tumors.

Supplied as a microplate-format kit with 96 assays, the package includes pre-coated wells, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution. Compatible matrices drawn from human donors include venous serum, EDTA plasma, and clarified tissue homogenates. The absorbance-based endpoint is read on a standard microplate reader at the appropriate primary wavelength.

Common research applications include studies of hepatic and renal regeneration, cancer cell invasion and metastasis, dermatologic wound healing, and biomarker discovery in HGF/MET-driven disease.
