Human Hepatic triacylglycerol lipase (LIPC) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of Hepatic triacylglycerol lipase (LIPC) in human samples using a colorimetric detection method. It is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit offers a detection range of 6.25-400ng/mL with a reported sensitivity of 3.9ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 2.5% CV and inter-assay precision is 6.3% CV. Specificity has been established for both natural and recombinant human Hepatic triacylglycerol lipase. Reported recovery ranges are 91-103% in serum and 93-105% in plasma.

LIPC, also known by the synonyms HL, HTGL and Lipase member C, catalyses the hydrolysis of phospholipids, mono-, di-, and triglycerides, and acyl-CoA thioesters, and is recognised as an important enzyme in HDL metabolism. The kit is designated for cardiovascular research applications and is intended for research use only.
