Human Heparin cofactor 2 (SERPIND1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise quantification of human Heparin cofactor 2 (SERPIND1) levels in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. It is reactive with human material and is reported to recognise natural and recombinant human Heparin cofactor 2.

The kit provides a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.2pg/mL. Reported precision values are an Intra CV of 4.8% and an Inter CV of 9.3%. Linearity was evaluated in serum (89-100% to 85-95%), EDTA plasma (105-115% to 94-103%) and Heparin Plasma (87-96% to 110-119%) across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Recovery averages 100% in serum (range 94-106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96-108%).

Heparin cofactor 2 is a thrombin inhibitor activated by heparin or dermatan sulfate that regulates blood coagulation and thrombosis, and peptides at its N-terminal have chemotactic activity for both monocytes and neutrophils.
