Human Heparin Binding Epidermal Growth Factor Like Growth Factor (HBEGF) ELISA Kit

This ELISA Kit from Assay Genie quantifies Heparin-Binding EGF-like Growth Factor (HB-EGF) in human samples through an antibody-pair microplate workflow compatible with standard laboratory absorbance readers. HB-EGF is a heparin-binding ligand for the EGF receptor family (ErbB1/EGFR and ErbB4) and is implicated in wound healing, cardiac and neural development, vascular remodeling, and tumor progression. Because proHB-EGF is shed from the cell surface to generate a soluble mitogen, accurate quantitation of the released cytokine in conditioned media is highly relevant to cardiovascular, oncology, and regenerative-medicine research.

Each plate provides capacity for 96 assays with a colorimetric readout, and the reagents include a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, calibration standards, and assay buffer sufficient to generate a full standard curve alongside unknown samples.
