Human Heparanase (HPSE) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Heparanase (HPSE) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Heparanase is an endoglycosidase that cleaves heparan sulfate proteoglycans, participates in extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation and remodelling, and is implicated in processes such as tumour metastasis, inflammation, and angiogenesis.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 37 pg/mL and a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 8.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 110-120% at 1:2, 90-99% at 1:4, 103-112% at 1:8, and 103-113% at 1:16. Average recovery is 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Heparanase, is reactive with human samples, and is supplied for research use only.
