The assay delivers a detection range of 6.25-400ng/mL with a sensitivity of 3.1ng/mL. Validation data show an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Specificity is established against natural and recombinant human Hemoglobin subunit gamma-1. Recovery averages 93% (range 87-99%) in serum and 95% (range 89-101%) in plasma, with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum (88-120%), EDTA plasma (88-109%), and heparin plasma (87-119%) samples.
