Human Hemoglobin subunit beta (HBB) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of human Hemoglobin subunit beta (HBB) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. HBB is a vital component of hemoglobin, the protein responsible for transporting oxygen from the lungs to tissues throughout the body, and changes in its levels can be associated with conditions including anemia, sickle cell disease and thalassemia.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with reactivity for human samples. Performance figures include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Hemoglobin subunit beta. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions ranges from 84-120% in serum, 92-116% in EDTA plasma and 92-114% in heparin plasma. Spike recovery averages 92% (range 86-98%) in serum and 94% (range 88-100%) in plasma.
